At BADER, we consider it our responsibility to pass on our knowledge to a future generation.

On this occasion we had the pleasure of welcoming 9 talented design students and lecturer Claudia Khalil from Hochschule Pforzheim for an in-depth leather seminar including a factory tour.

Our journey began with a guided tour through our tannery and production facilities in Ichenhausen, where the group explored our wastewater treatment plant, water workshop and dye works. We then continued at our Göppingen head office with a theoretical deep dive into leather production processes, sustainability practices and the wide range of design possibilities that leather offers.

Our goal was clear: to provide meaningful insights into industrial leather manufacturing and the full spectrum of design and production steps - from concept to creation.

We are proud of sharing our passion for this natural, sustainable material with this interested audience.

And this is just the beginning.
