As part of Milan Design Week, BADER presented its outdoor exhibition “BADER Leather. Reimagined.” at Via Tortona, just outside the Haus of Automotive by Konzepthaus. The exhibition offered visitors an immersive look into the future of surface materials, demonstrating how leather continues to evolve through innovation, sustainability and new design approaches.

Throughout the week, designers, industry professionals and visitors explored a curated collection of next-generation material concepts. From bold colour concepts and contemporary aesthetics to more sustainable production methods, the exhibition highlighted how traditional materials can be reimagined for future mobility and interior design applications.

Rather than presenting materials in a conventional display, the exhibition was designed as an interactive experience. Visitors were encouraged to touch, examine and engage directly with the materials, gaining a deeper understanding of their textures, characteristics and potential applications. This hands-on approach reflected BADER’s belief that true innovation is not only seen but also felt.

Throughout the event, BADER’s team of experts - including Alexandra Dittrich, Martin Wolf, Ellen Wulf, Gamze Çağrıtekin and Rodewig Naegele - engaged with visitors in discussions about material trends, sustainable development and future applications. These conversations connected innovative surface solutions with real-world challenges and opportunities in transportation and interior design.
